Two months ago, in May, the first trailer for She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes was released, one of the new series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced exclusively for Disney+.
She-Hulk debuts on August 17, in just over a month, and will introduce the MCU to one of Marvel’s most beloved comic book heroines, played here by the talented Tatiana Maslany ( Orphan Black ). The first trailer was able to give a preview of the fun tone that the series will have, as well as confirm the return of the Hulk ( Mark Ruffalo ) and the Abomination ( Tim Roth ), raising expectations even more for August.
However, the preview also generated a lot of debate about the character’s look, in which many fans criticized the quality of the visual effects, causing the series to receive many, many negative reviews. But anyway, today Empire Magazine exclusively released a new image of the series, which shows the superheroine arriving at some gala event, a moment that had already been shown in the trailer. The production that will try to continue the success of other Marvel Studios series, such as WandaVision and Loki, recently had its premiere date revealed on Disney +: August 17th. The She-Hulk series was announced at D23 2019 alongside Ms Marvel and Moon Knight. Described as a legal comedy, it will have 9 episodes, each 30 minutes long! After a lot of mystery since its announcement at the end of 2019, it’s now OFFICIAL: the series will arrive on Disney+ on August 17th!
Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) will serve as the series’ main writer and producer. While Kat Coiro ( Brooklyn Nine-Nine ) and Anu Valia ( I Never… ). The cast includes Tatiana Maslany (Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Tim Roth (Abominable, from The Incredible Hulk ), and Jameela Jamil, who should play the villain Titania!
