Something was different about Jessica Jones the hawk-eyed Marvel fans and Disney+ subscribers noted that when the streamer took over what was previously Netflix’s collection of MCU-based TV shows,  The addition of an abbreviation changed the entire game, as the series is now introduced during its opening sequence as AKA Jessica Jones. And the change has MCU fans buzzing with intrigue and excitement.  The change could have a few different meanings behind it. Before on Netflix, Jessica Jones was being developed by ABC under the Jessica Jones name, so it’s possible that Disney+ was hoping to split the difference and leave the title the same on its home page while updating it in the aforementioned opening moments of every episode. However, this change could also point to something much bigger: the hopeful next chapter in the superhero’s life.

New hope arrived for fans of old shows based on the Sony and Netflix MCU when Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox), made an appearance in the recent blockbuster, Spider-Man: No Way HomeAfter giving Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker some legal advice in a brief but exciting cameo, fans of the superhero lawyer have been talking non-stop about his fate in the Marvel Universe.  From the looks of it, something is on the way for Matt Murdock. East could lead to a full entry point for shows like Jessica Jones and The Punisher’s return to the world.

Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as the titular superheroine. Sarcastic, impulsive, and a bit emotionally unstable, Jones uses her superpowers to help out as a private investigator. The problem is that she is being mind-controlled by the series’ villain, Kilgrave (David Tennant). Throughout the series, Jones attempts to unfold Kilgrave’s plans as she helps those around her confront her enemies.

Meanwhile, July means it’s time for the San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place at the end of the month. A time for fans of all things Marvel to get the latest scoop on their favorite franchises, it looks like Marvel boss Kevin Feige has a few tricks up his sleeve and will deliver the details surrounding what fans can expect from Marvel. future Marvel releases.
