The 5G network is a reality in the country after the announcement of the deployment of the infrastructure of the new technological generation by Telcel, which will start in 18 cities and will have the objective of satisfying the needs of users of mobile telephony services.

With a higher browsing speed, 100 times higher, the new 5G network presents different challenges, such as being compatible with the “little apple” devices, the iPhone, which for the moment will be unable to connect to its new technological network.

The company explained that its 5G is not compatible with the devices of this brand until Apple implements a new update, which allows the connection to be established, something that so far around 40 teams of different brands can already do.

However, an advance made by Telcel on cell phone models is that gradually more devices will work with 5G so that later people who have an iPhone will be able to access said band that promises greater speed and user connectivity capacity.

Although the particular situation with the iPhone is a problem of updating, the problem of the deployment of the 5G generation is the obsolescence of some mobile phones that will not be useful because they are designed for 3G and 4G and will stop working in the technological transition that has started from this 2022.

AT&T will “turn off” the 3G network in the United States from February 22 and, later, T-Mobile will do so on July 1.

Within the cell phones that are compatible with the Telcel network, there are at least 40 models from 11 brands, including Motorola, Samsung and Xiaomi.
