Captain Carter is a character introduced in the Disney+ animated series What If…? In this universe, it was Peggy Carter ( Hayley Atwell ) who underwent the experiment with the super-soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers ( Chris Evans ). In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Hayley Atwell, who played Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, plays Captain Carter.
Captain Marvel
On Earth-616 Carol Danvers ( Brie Larson ) is Captain Marvel, but on Earth-838 she is Maria Rambeau ( Lashana Lynch ). Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness does not specify how the latter acquired her powers. Lashana Lynch is the actress who plays Captain Marvel of Earth-838. The latter was the one who gave life to Maria Rambeau, Carol Danvers’s best friend, in Captain Marvel. Her daughter is Monica Rambeau ( Teyonah Parris ), a key character in Scarlet Witch and Vision, who became Photon when she acquired powers. and who we will see again in the sequel to Captain Marvel titled The Marvels.
Mr fantastic
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness introduces Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic, the leader of the Fantastic Four, from Earth-838. John Krasinski is in charge of interpreting him and his signing for this cameo is one of the most liked by fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor was the favorite to play Reed Richards and Marvel Studios has given his fans a moment to remember. Fantastic Four is one of the future deliveries of Phase 4of the UCM, but we will have to wait to find out if Krasinsi also gets into the skin of Mr. Fantastic again on Earth-616 -if the film is set in that universe- or it will be another actor.
Charles Xavier
The trailers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have already teased the appearance of Charles Xavier. Patrick Stewart, who has given life to the leader of Marvel’s mutants in the X-Men saga of 20th Century Fox – now baptized as 20th Century Studios after its purchase by Disney -, has returned as Professor X in the sequel to Doctor Strange (Doctor Strange). Earth-838’s Charles Xavier features a nod to the comics by introducing his iconic yellow wheelchair.
Bruce Campbell
This cameo is not related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it is a nod to the career of Sam Raimi. Bruce Campbell is in charge of interpreting, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a seller of pizza balls on Earth-838. After a dispute, Stephen Strange ( Benedict Cumberbatch ) casts a spell on him with which he will spend a few weeks hitting his face. Campbell starred in the Raimi trilogy consisting of The Dead of Hell (1981), Terrifyingly Dead (1987), and Army of Darkness (1993).
