The Spanish-Mexican singer, Belinda, has already confirmed that she will stay in Spain for a long time to continue her projects, after her breakup with rancher Christian Nodal. Among one of those plans are “Welcome to Eden”, the new Netflix series that will be released on May 6.

We must not forget that Nodal and Belinda moved to Madrid for a few months so that they could carry out the recordings in February 2021. Now, it is quite a fact that the audiovisual production will be launched on the air and it has been the same interpreter of ‘Luz without gravity’, who spoke about her character Africa.

“Very happy, grateful for the opportunity, delighted with all my colleagues, I have learned a lot. Difficult moments, of a lot of learning and I am looking forward to its premiere, ”she expressed during the press conference for the series. Also, she described her character and gave her opinion about her.

“She loves the party because she feels very safe in that environment, that’s like her mask to the people,” she said. “She likes to look good, look pretty, feel safe, but behind all that there is a woman who is mysterious, she does not want anyone to get into her feelings and her heart,” she said.

She specified that to decipher her character, one must think carefully about what she says. “You have to think carefully when you talk to her because you can’t easily read her, she tells you one thing, but in reality, it’s another, you don’t know if she’s good, if she’s bad, she’s a girl you have to discover little by little”, commented.

In this sense, she assured me that she has several things in common with Africa, but not others, for that reason she learned a lot from it in the process. “I am very transparent and with Africa, I have to create like those layers; in me, it shows when I’m angry and in Africa, it doesn’t, she stays quiet and you don’t know what she’s going to do, ”she said.

She added that she is the main voice of the soundtrack. “That song was born just a week before traveling to Spain. I was getting to know each of the chapters and it was something that came to me; when I compose a song the melody arrives, that perfect and literal moment in the shower I started to sing, with the phone I started to record, ”she added.
