Twitter has redesigned the way it displays the ‘tweets’ in the timeline, which now has two tabs, the home one and the one in reverse chronological order with the publications of the accounts that the user follows.

Twitter’s timeline has undergone several changes in recent years, aimed at optimizing the way tweets are displayed. This form oscillates between the automatic selection of the most relevant content made by the platform’s algorithms, or the latest content published by the accounts that are followed.

In the iOS app, and “soon” on Android and the web, Twitter has redesigned the home page to display two tabs: Home and Recents, which the user can move between to review all posts.

The latest ‘tweets’ tab is configurable, that is, the user has the possibility of pinning it (or unpinning it) at the top to have it at their fingertips. By default, the social network shows the ‘tweet’ on the home screen according to the algorithm.
