The Galaxy A series of phones has become Samsung’s main bet in the mid-range. For this reason, after presenting its new premium mobiles in February, it is now preparing a new event where it will announce the new models of the Galaxy A family.
Reliable leaker Evan Blass has shared an official-looking sneak peek image revealing that Samsung is holding a Galaxy A event next week on March 17 to introduce the new phones from the aforementioned mobile series.
The teaser doesn’t mention the name of the upcoming smartphones, but it does show the alphabet ‘A’ in different styles, one of them hinting at water resistance. Last year, on the same date, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72, so the Korean company is expected to launch the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73, of which there have been leaks for a while.
Features of the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will be powered by the in-house Exynos 1200 chipset with the model number S5e8825. It will also incorporate a 6.52-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and FHD + resolution (1080 x 2400 px).
For its part, the Samsung Galaxy A73 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G paired with 6 or 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, which will provide this mid-range smartphone with great autonomy and performance.
