The emergency services were alerted on Wednesday morning to Petroport, the industrial port behind the Borealis cracker plant, regarding a fire on board a ship.
The Greater Gothenburg Rescue Service’s command center reports a chimney fire aboard a ship.
An ambulance, the police, the rescue service, and the industry’s rescue service, IRIS, were all dispatched to the scene.
The rescue services swiftly put out the fire and conducted an inspection.
There were no injuries in the incident.
They arrived on the scene around 07:30 and started to wrap up the rescue operation.

Following a small fire earlier today, PetroPort ships at the quay had strong heat development in one of the chimneys.
All loading and unloading activities were once more halted, and all parties involved were informed.
