Finally, the celebration of the Urban Music Awards 2022 was held at the Puerto Rico Coliseum, where several international artists were present, who dazzled their way through the red carpet of the Awards.

On this night full of music, in which big stars won one or more awards, there was a celebrity who stood out from the rest.

We refer to the Colombian Karol G, who received a total of nine awards, including Artist of the Year, one of the most important of the event.

In addition to this award, ‘Bichota’ dominated in the Top Social Artist, Concert/Tour of the Year, and Album of the Year categories, among others.

Likewise, he won the Collaboration of the Year award, thanks to the song ‘Mamii’ that he released together with Becky G, which reached number 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs list.

Another of the awards received by the artist born in Medellín was in the Video of the Year category, for the song ‘El Makinon’, where she collaborates with Mariah Angeliq, which, so far, has accumulated more than 743 million views on YouTube.

Karol G swept this Thursday in the third edition of the Premios Tu Música Urbano by obtaining nine awards, surprising and far surpassing artists who led the nominations such as Bad Bunny.

The main awards Karol G won at the show, held at the Puerto Rico Coliseum in San Juan, were Artist of the Year, Female Artist Album of the Year for “ KG0516 ” and Video of the Year for “El making”.

The interpreter, absent from the evening, also won the awards for Top Social Artist, Remix of the Year for “ Poblado remix ”, Collaboration of the Year for “ Mamiii ”, together with Becky G, Top Crossover Song for “ Don’t be shy ”, Top Trap Song for “ I don’t wish you evil ” and Concert/Tour of the Year for “ Bichota Tour ”.
