The analysis that leaves the election day is very interesting.

Last Sunday, June 6, 2022, elections were held in six states, of which Morena won in four states and the opposition endorsed in two states. The analysis that leaves the election day is very interesting.

The states of Quintana Roo, Oaxaca, Hidalgo, and Tamaulipas painted themselves icing on the cake, opting for change and giving the 4T the opportunity to govern. For their part, Aguascalientes and Durango opted for continuity and the alliance of the opposition to continue governing.

But while it is true that the elections in Quintana Roo, Oaxaca, and Hidalgo were a field day for Morena’s candidates, Tamaulipas was much more closed than expected; Even so, he gave a comfortable victory to Américo Villarreal, from Morena, over the official candidate César ´El Truko´ Augusto.

What is striking about this election is that according to the political propaganda that was used in the different media, as well as among political actors, it was an alleged criminal pact between the MORENA candidates and organized crime, specifically with the Sinaloa Cartel. What is striking is that the state of Tamaulipas is where this cartel has the least presence. It is known that although about six criminal groups operate, the strongest is the Gulf Cartel and the Zetas, and the criminal groups that operate with these are the subways, cyclones, scorpions, troops from hell, etc., so here It is impossible for the Sinaloa Cartel had interference in state voting.

What was clear was that all the power of the governor was used so that his candidate won the elections, since his freedom is at stake due to the arrest warrants that exist against him.

Durango is another case worthy of analysis since they use the same narrative that there is a criminal pact between the federal government and the Sinaloa Cartel. It is curious that the predominant group that has territorial and political control of the state is the Sinaloa Cartel through its armed group the Cabreras, the armed wing of the leader Ismael ´El Mayo´ Zambada, and which was won by the opposition, also using all the power of the state in collusion with criminal groups to guarantee the victory of the official candidate Esteban Villegas.

But not everything stops there, in Aguascalientes, where a state operation was denounced for this Sunday’s elections, the factious use of municipal and state police in favor of the official candidate Tere Jimenez was documented, curiously, the preponderant criminal group there is the Sinaloa Cartel. I wonder why, if the federal government supposedly has a pact with the Sinaloa Cartel, did the opposition candidates win the 4T?

In the states where there is no greater presence of this Cartel and there are its enemies, there the 4T did win, such as Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Oaxaca, and Quintana Roo. Could it be that this narrative of the pact with the Sinaloa Cartel is another invention of the opposition to justify its electoral defeats? We did not even see the presence of the National Guard in those states of the Republic.

Let us remember that the National Regeneration Movement ( MORENA ) had no governorship in 2018 when its candidate won the Presidency of the Republic, but today he has 20 governorships and two more if we count his political allies such as the PES and the Green Ecologist Party. This should make the opposition think since what these elections leave us is clear: the opposition has not known how to connect with the people, it has no proposals or new policies, the political actors are the same, and they have lost identity by uniting the left with the right, added to the big egos of its leaders and the corruption scandals of its members, as well as internal conflicts.

The PRD will lose registration in four states of the Republic, not counting those that have already lost. Very likely it will end up disappearing since it does not contribute anything to the famous opposition alliance. The same happens with the PRI, which will even lose state registration in the state of Quintana Roo, which has always been one of its strongholds. The PAN must analyze how convenient it is to go with these two parties in the alliance. Let us remember that the mother of all battles is coming, which will be the State of Mexico, PRI bastion par excellence, and of the famous Atlacomulco group.

It is also known that he does not want to go to Alianza because the PAN candidates are better positioned, specifically Enrique Vargas, who has the full support of his party and is the only one who has generated a network in the state of Mexico. It is known in advance that the MORENA candidate will be the teacher Delfina Gomez, who is already preparing for the campaign, Senator Higinio Martinez himself knows that she will be the standard-bearer for MORENA. The opposition alliance will depend on what is negotiated in the State of Mexico, if the PRI will be the greatest catastrophe in its history, even more so than the loss of the Presidency of the Republic in the times of Zedillo.

Finally, it would seem that Movimiento Ciudadano is the big loser in these elections; however, by going alone he won what the PRD and the PRI lost, which is to know their reality and that it is enough to compete alone, even if it is to add the percentages necessary to maintain the record that, in these times of electoral alliances, is becomes something highly coveted for any of the political actors who intend to win the Presidency of the Republic.
