A shootout between police and civilians was recorded this Saturday afternoon on a beach in Acapulco, which left a balance of 3 men dead and one injured, for which the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guerrero is already investigating the events.
The events were recorded around 3:30 p.m., when men with handguns arrived at the “Doña Ofe” restaurant, in Plaza del Pescador, and shot two of the diners in the Traditional Acapulco.
However, when the aggressors became aware of the presence of the agents, they fired and tried to flee toward Playa Honda; however, the Ministerial Investigative Police managed to repel the attack, which triggered a confrontation.
Later, another of the aggressors of the two diners tried to flee by sea. The Attorney General of the State of Guerrero reported that so far the other man who fled has not been located.
The fact caused fear, panic, and a nervous breakdown among the tourists who immediately ran and threw themselves on the sand, while others left the beach, and restaurants to take cover between cars and walls.
Minutes later, more police and personnel from the Expert Services arrived, who immediately carried out the first steps at the crime scene after it was cordoned off.
