A new incident has cast a shadow over 29-year-old Ezra Miller‘s Hollywood career after Miller was arrested for assault last spring. The non-binary “The Flash” actor is said to have disappeared with 18-year-old environmental activist Tokata Iron Eyes. Miller has known her since she was twelve.
As Fox News reports, Tokata’s parents accuse Miller of “psychologically manipulating their child, physically intimidating them and endangering their safety and well-being.” Miller is said to have administered drugs such as LSD and marijuana to the teenager, so the allegation. A court issued a restraining order against Miller.
However, the police have not yet been able to determine the whereabouts of Miller and Tokata to serve or enforce the order, reports the Los Angeles Times. The injunction barred the star from contacting and harassing 18-year-old Tokata and her parents for 30 days. In addition, Miller must stay at least 100 yards (about 91 meters) from the family home.

Tokata speaks up: “This is my life”
Tokata released a statement saying “Ezra Miller has offered me nothing but loving support and invaluable protection.”
Since many people thought those weren’t her words, Tokata shared a video defending Miller: “This is my life and I’m disappointed in my parents in every way.”

But that’s not all. NBC News reported that a Massachusetts mother obtained a temporary restraining order against the DC star for her 12-year-old child. This was issued without prior notice “because the court determined that there was a significant likelihood of an imminent threat of harassment.”
The mother, whose name will not be released for privacy reasons, said she and her child met Miller through an acquaintance in February. She said Miller seemed friendly at first, but soon became suspicious of Miller’s relationship with their child. Miller offered to buy gifts for the child, even after turning down Miller’s previous offers. NBC quotes the mother:
“I was wondering why Ezra was here. Don’t you have anything to do in Hollywood? Aren’t your films coming out soon?”
What about The Flash?
After this second injunction against Miller, the Warner Bros. film studio, to which Miller is under contract, is now also reacting. The DC film The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, is slated for a June 2023 release with a budget of $200 million.
According to Deadline, Ezra Miller is likely to be replaced in future DC projects even if no further allegations are made. However, there has not yet been an official announcement from the film studio. After all, with “The Flash” an investment in the millions is at stake.
