After this, Mohammad Ghori was about to kill Prithviraj, and Prithviraj’s close friend Rajkavi Chandbardai told Ghori that Prithviraj is adept at wielding Shabdbhedi Baan (the art of shooting arrows by listening to the voice). Hearing this, Ghori asked him to perform this art. Then Chandbardai uttered a couplet with his understanding, this couplet was – “Four bamboo twenty-four yards, Angul Ashta proof, Ta above is the sultan, don’t miss Chauhan.” Hearing this couplet of Chandbardai, Prithviraj shot an arrow and killed Mohammad Ghori. After killing Mohammad Ghori, Prithviraj and Chandbardai took each other’s lives to avoid the misfortune of the enemies. When Sanyogita came to know about this, she also gave up her life by committing sati in the separation of her husband.
