Maidaan teaser: After years of waiting, the first teaser for Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan has finally arrived. You can watch it here.

In Maidaan, Ajay Devgn is attempting to Ted Lasso his way into your hearts and minds. Nonetheless, he approaches sports teaching in a more ‘Kabir Khan’ manner. On Thursday, the first teaser for the upcoming Boney Kapoor show was published, and it is rather spectacular.

The teaser begins with an introduction to the 1950s Indian football squad, who qualified for the Olympics for the second time. What distinguishes them is that they are playing the “biggest game” barefoot. Ajay then introduces us to broody coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

There is a lot of training montage, some spectacular goals, a preview of the team’s attacks, and lastly some electrifying pep words. See the teaser here:

Priyamani also appears in the film, which is directed by Amit Sharma of Badhaai Ho. AR Rahman composed the soundtrack. Because of Covid, the film has been significantly delayed. Priyamani discussed the delay with HT last year. “We finished filming a while ago; the entire picture is finished, but it had to be shifted.” Because to Covid, the producers had a lot of trouble getting the crew and cast to fly down.

We followed all procedures… and am now looking forward to its release. It’s going to be a unique flick. Even for Amit Sharma, who has made a film like this and added another feather to his cap,” says the 37-year-old. The film will now be released on June 23rd.

Maidaan was formerly scheduled to be released on October 15, 2021. There was a lot of uproar about the picture colliding with SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which Boney did not take lightly.

“It was immoral for those people to announce on the same day, despite the fact that the same actor was the primary protagonist in my film and one of the heroes in theirs.” “I’d take this to my grave, and it’s almost like stabbing the hero in the back,” he told Pinkvilla. Ajay also had a brief appearance in RRR.
