If you are one of those who uses WhatsApp, one of the main instant messaging platforms, to keep in touch with friends and family daily, you should know all the advantages it offers and why it is one of the most popular applications.
One of the characteristics of this platform is that its security and data privacy aspects are one of its main strengths. Therefore, you should know that there are certain prohibited words that you cannot use in your chats, or else your account could be suspended, we tell you what they are.
WHAT ARE THE FORBIDDEN WORDS IN WHATSAPP
The reason why WhatsApp could block your account if you use those words in your chat groups is that they are considered as a way of reporting that illegal content is being exchanged in those conversations or those group chats.
The words you should not use are:
- pedophilia.
- Pornography.

The bad news is that the sanction would not only be for those who use those words but for all the members of the group, in this way, their account would be banned or suspended and the information would be eliminated by the platform.
In this way, you would lose conversations, files, photos, videos, and audio, since WhatsApp does not allow you to make a backup copy of your information, so you should avoid them if you do not want this to happen.

A ban is a right that the application reserves to close its users’ accounts in case of non-compliance with the rules defined in its terms of use. There are two types of ban: temporary and permanent.
In the case of temporary, the account is suspended and after an indefinite time, it is available again. In the case of permanent, the account is suspended and it is not possible to use it again.
