To lower the brightness on your Windows 10 PC, you will first need to select the action centre located on the right side of the taskbar, and then move the Brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

If the Brightness slider doesn’t appear on your PC or isn’t working, Microsoft recommends that you follow these steps to update the display control so you can adjust the brightness on your computer: ” in the taskbar search box, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results. In Device Manager, select Display adapters, and then select the display adapter. Long-press (or right-click) the name of the adapter to display, and then select Update driver and follow the instructions.
