After more than 10 years since its foundation, Instagram has become one of the most popular social networks worldwide. During this decade, both the platform and the user accounts themselves have undergone a wide variety of changes.

In this sense, the application has a history where all the modifications you make to your profile are recorded, such as username, description, email address, password, privacy settings and more.

How to see your history of your account on Instagram?

  1. Sign in to the Instagram app from your iOS or Android device
  2. Tap the profile icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen
  3. Tap the three-line button ☰ at the top right of your profile
  4. Click on the option Your activity
  5. Go to the Account History section.

Scroll down the page to see all the changes you’ve made to your Instagram account over time. Additionally, you can select the Sort and filter option at the top right to organize the content according to different parameters.

This includes the ability to view updates from newest to oldest (and vice versa), as well as the ability to set a specific start and end date for the information to be displayed.

On the other hand, from this section, you can also click on any of the changes that you have applied to your account to update said data or configuration. For example, if you select your password, you will access the section to modify it again.
