As Ultimate Classic Rock reports, Ozzy Osbourne is ” doing well and on the road to recovery ” after his serious surgery, according to his wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne.

Although Sharon did not offer more details about his surgery, the singer said last May that he was “waiting for my neck surgery… These days I can’t walk well. I do physical therapy every morning. I’m a little better, but not even close to what I want to get back on the road.”

Sharon announced Ozzy’s successful outcome, tweeting, “Our family wants to express their gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support we have received leading up to Ozzy’s surgery! Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery. Your love means the world to him.”

Ozzy Osbourne has a new album

Ozzy Osbourne’s new album will have an impressive line-up of famous musicians in the world of rock and metal. Not only will it have collaborations, but it will also feature, as headlines, Chad Smith, drummer for Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robert Trujillo, bassist for Metallica, and also bassist, but from Guns N’ Roses, Duff McKagan. It will see the light in September.

Smith and company have already appeared on Osbourne’s last album, ‘Ordinary Man’ (2020) and they return to work on this new album with the producer who has taken the reins of Osbourne’s career, Andrew Watt“Tony Iommi and Ozzy have never collaborated outside of Black Sabbath,” he said before the legendary guitarist’s collaboration on the new album was confirmed. “Tony sent us a bunch of riffs and we took the ones we thought were the best, which was great… he’s got it all. It’s everything you want to have.”

“Then Eric Clapton played a fucking wah-wah, Cream-style solo. We were like, ‘Eric, can you do a solo on this song? With wah-wah, please… Because that was the fucking thing about him. And he did a guitar solo over the whole song. So Jeff Beck appears in two songs. We’re trying to get Jimmy Page, we’re trying to get the whole trifecta – but I don’t think Page plays too much anymore, unfortunately.”

On the other hand, the list of guest musicians includes Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Eric Clapton, Zakk Wylde, Jeff Beck, Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam).
