Those of you who are also huge Friends fans will understand how much time we spend watching the programme over and over again.

It’s remarkable that so many of us managed to miss this, given that many of us know the show better than the real cast.

You may recall that the newlywed Bings broke our hearts in the final season (2004) by deciding to leave their Manhattan residence and start their lives together somewhere.

TikToker user @kazascoot made the observation that the property the couple looked at in the suburbs could have been the same one featured in the holiday film from the ’90s.
Despite the fact that the McCallisters resided in Chicago while Monica and Chandler remained in New York, the future Bing house had windows that reveal the same familiar landscape as in Home Alone.

If you peek out the window of the Bings’ living room, you’ll see a blue garage, much as in the original garage scene from the 1990s movie.

The fact that when Kevin leaves his house on a sleigh, he lands beside a property adorned with a wreath is another evidence.

From inside Chandler and Monica’s new home, you can see the exact same door.
Since the Bing family’s new neighbourhood looks suspiciously like it was lifted straight out of Home Alone, the film’s production company, 22 Vision, has accused Friends’ creators of using Home Alone stock footage to create the Bings’ new neighbourhood.

Many viewers have gone insane over the film, and one of them said: “The McCallister property is well out of their price range. Given that Chandler put his whole savings into the wedding.”
A second viewer had an equally mind-blowing theory: “Maybe Friends is a Home Alone precursor, and the Bings turn out to be the neglectful parents.”

Wow.

Despite many people arguing in the comments that “Friends is in New York and Home Alone is in Chicago,” the owners of the property opposite, which is located in Winnetka, Illinois, appear to have settled the matter once and for all in 2016.

According to Digital Spy, 22 Vision contacted the property’s rightful owners, who allegedly verified that the house in question is theirs.

That should have been enough to completely astound you.
