AN AWARD FOR MEXICO
Because the rest of the nominated films also had well-known actors, Derbez confessed that he was surprised to find out that they had won.
“It was a surprise for the entire cast since we arrived we commented that the award was to be nominated, that for us the fact of being there, nominated, among all those people was already an award, we saw it as impossible, the cast of House of Gucci, for example, is spectacular…”, declared the comedian.

“Very big, we saw it practically impossible. So when they said ‘CODA’ and called us, it did take us a few seconds to believe that he had won. It was very nice, very emotional, especially because my colleagues, it is the first time in history that a cast of deaf actors wins a SAG Awards, it was very exciting, I am very happy, “revealed the actor.
