Jimin‘s fellow BTS members have expressed their love and support for him following his historic debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100!
Billboard revealed on April 3 local time that BTS’s Jimin had topped the current Hot 100 list with “Like Crazy,” making him the first Korean solo artist to do so.
BTS’s leader RM immediately turned to Instagram Stories to share a photo of the current Hot 100 top 10 rating. “I’m proud,” he said, tagging Jimin. Incidentally, RM is a co-writer of Jimin’s “Like Crazy,” making this his fourth Hot 100 No. 1 as a songwriter.
J-Hope excitedly posted Billboard’s tweet revealing this week’s Hot 100 top ten with a row of purple hearts, writing, “This is history.” “Congratulations,” J-Hope wrote, tagging Jimin.
Jimin also posted the same top ten photo on his Instagram profile, captioning it “Love u everybody,,.” RM and J-Hope continued to show their support for Jimin by leaving encouraging emoticons in the comments.
BTS announced an indefinite pause from group activities in June to focus on solo careers and military enlistments. Jin was the first member to enlist in December, and J-Hope just declared his intention to enroll as an active-duty soldier. Again, congratulations to Jimin on his tremendous feat!
