Telegram is characterized by permanently adding new functions to its platform, with the aim of taking away WhatsApp’s leadership in the instant messaging application market.

Telegram videostickers

The animated Stickers on Telegram have much greater vitality than when they exploded on WhatsApp. However, the blue application wants to go further and announced this option that now allows the possibility that the same user can create them from a video.

“Today, we are adding the possibility of generating stickers from normal videos, so that anyone can easily create animated stickers using any video editing software”, indicates the platform in its usual statement when announcing new functions.

You can publish your packs with the @Stickers bot or add some of the new packs made by others.

How can you create them?

Telegram explains that to create video stickers, you just need editing software that allows you to export your project as a . WEBM video file ( alpha channel is no longer required).

Once your videostickers are ready, send the command to the @Stickers bot > then send it on .WEBM./newvideo files

Your set will need a .Webm icon. Icons for Videosticker sets must be 100×100 pixels, with a looping animation not to exceed 3 seconds, the app says.

Videosticker requirements

One side of the sticker must be exactly 512 pixels in size, the other side can be 512 pixels or less.
The length of the video should not exceed 3 seconds.
The frame rate can be up to 30 FPS.
The video should be looped for optimal user experience.
The size of the video must not exceed 256 KB.
The video must be in .WEBM format encoded with the VP9 codec.
Video must not have streaming audio.
