Argentine hamburger restaurant changed its name due to the threat of Kevin Bacon

The Hollywood star found out in the middle of Jimmy Kimmel’s show and her reaction was one of surprise.

Using the names of famous people to launch a product or business is often a dangerous but effective strategy. The cases of ‘Miel Gibson’, a brand of honey created by a Chilean teacher during the pandemic and which was sued by a Hollywood actor for using the image of the artist taken from the movie Corazon Valiente, are world-famous.

KEVIN BACON MADE IN ARGENTINA

Now, another international movie star has found out that a food establishment in Argentina used his name and his face as a brand: it is Kevin Bacon, who appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel program and between jokes, the driver revealed that An Argentine fast food had used the image of the actor and the name and surname.

In the interview in which Kimmel showed a photo of the local Buenos Aires and the profile of the social network, Kevin Bacon assured that “I’m going to talk to my lawyer.” This statement was made with laughter since he is used to being joked with his last name (bacon or bacon in English), but such a phrase was enough for any reference to the Argentinian food place to say ‘goodbye’.

“This is a fast-food restaurant in Argentina and it seems that there are places all over the world called Kevin Bacon Fast Good,” the driver told the actor, to which Bacon replied: “That’s not a good photo. Kind of a clown face.”
