At the beginning of last year, all the media were flooded with images of Ninel Conde‘s wedding with Colombian businessman Larry Ramos. It was a ceremony that was carried out in style and with all possible luxuries.

When it seemed that everything had calmed down and that, finally, the wedding had become old gossip, it was that he learned about the complicated legal situation that Larry Ramos has in the United States. The businessman is investigated for fraud and theft, he was even wanted by Interpol.

Given all this controversy, Ninel Conde was asked what her situation was in front of the US authorities as she was married to Larry Ramos. To which she confessed that she was never legally married, so she is not affected by anything her “husband” has done.

During an interview for the program “El Gordo y la Flaca”, the drivers asked her if she planned to get a divorce, after knowing the legal status of the person she was accompanying, to which she replied:

“I am not legally married, so there is no way (…) it was not legally, it was a spiritual ritual”

“Did you never get married before the courts of Mexico?” Raúl de Molina asked her and she without hesitation affirmed: “Many call him my husband, but there are no papers (…) sometimes that is not the most important thing.”

What did Ninel Conde’s husband do?

Larry Ramos, Ninel Conde’s husband, was accused by more than 200 people of fraud of around millions of dollars. In addition, the FBI is looking for him for circumventing legal measures and going on the run.

The legal statement released to the world reads: “Larry Ramos Mendoza is a fugitive who is wanted for his alleged role in an investment fraud scheme. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the FBI.”

For her part, Ninel Conde no longer wants to be asked about him anymore. She wants to completely erase him from his life and assures her that she no longer has anything to do with him. The only thing she is willing to do is to help the authorities provide information if necessary.

“The truth is that this topic [by Larry Ramos] is already closed for me. I have nothing more to say. For God’s sake, don’t even play that song for me, ” Ninel Conde told the media, closing this chapter in his lifetime. Do you believe him?
