Shakira and Jennifer Lopez at the Super Bowl: the best reactions to the halftime show

Shakira and Jennifer Lopez were captivated by an incredible show and the reactions on the internet were not long in coming.

The Super Bowl LIV halftime show was one of the most anticipated events for the beginning of 2020 and the performances of the Latin stars were what we expected and much more.

And of course, the reactions on social networks were immediate, commenting on the best and most extravagant of the show.

And there was much speculation about whether there would be other surprises, such as special guests… and they didn’t disappoint either.

What did Shakira sing?

The stars divided the show so that each one shined with the respective themes of their discography.

Shakira came first to open the show and make us dance as only she could.

She reviewed some of his most popular songs in the United States and the world, to keep fans happy.

It started with Loba to later turn things on with a more rock version of Empire .

We went back in time for a moment to enjoy a classic in Spanish, Ojos Así, before the chords of his first Anglo hit, WheneverWherever, broke the stadium.

For the first surprise of the night, Shakira threw herself a cover of I Like It by rapper Cardi B to welcome Bad Bunny, who accompanied her on the song and later interpreted a bit of Callista.

Shakira picked up with Chantaje and ended the set with Hips Don’t Lie.

With excellent timing and great energy, she handed over the baton to the girl from the Bronx, JLo, who gave everything and much more.

What did Jennifer Lopez sing?

Lopez kicked off with a great song, Jenny From The Block, before moving on to the remix version of Ain’t It Funny.

Get Right came next and JLo swept it away with extreme performance of Waiting For Tonight to make way for a collaboration with J Balvin.

We heard a remix between Love Don’t Cost A Thing and Mi Gente that got those present dancing. Jennifer’s mega-hit On The Floor served to end her solo set and usher in the last part of the night.

Let’s Get Loud and Waka Waka was the songs with which both singers closed the show, which will undoubtedly become one of the most important in history.
