With the OnePlus Pad, the company officially joins the tablet market

Today, OnePlus officially released its first tablet, the Pad. The new product is a high-end tablet that features a Dimensity 9000 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is a unique pattern on it that makes it impossible to confuse it with a slate produced by any other company.

The primary display on the OnePlus Pad is a 7:5 aspect ratio, which is in between the more common 3:2 and 4:3 ratios. It’s an IPS LCD display with a maximum refresh rate of 144 frames per second and a screen size of 11.61 inches.

Having a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a contrast ratio of 1400:1, the screen is impressive. OnePlus claims that the phone’s 88.14% screen-to-body ratio is made possible by its small bezels.

One may record high-definition video (4K) using the 13-megapixel camera located on the back. Furthermore, the front-facing camera is a high-definition 8 megapixel unit.

Dolby Atmos is supported by the OnePlus Pad’s four speakers, one in each of the tablet’s four corners. The screen is Dolby Vision compatible.

The OnePlus Pad’s 9,510mAh battery allows for 14.5 hours of continuous video playback or 30 days of standby time. OnePlus claims a full charge in about 80 minutes @ 67W SuperVOOC charging speeds. Connecting the Pad to OnePlus smartphones is simple, and the tablet may even use the phone’s data plan to go online if the user so chooses.

The OnePlus Pad is available in Halo Green to match the OnePlus 11 and features an engraving called “Star Orbit,” which creates engraved lines in the CNC machined aluminum back surface that originate at the rear camera.

An optional Magnetic Keyboard, a protective Folio case, and a pen for notetaking and drawing on the OnePlus Pad are all available for purchase. The OnePlus Pad will be available for pre-order in April in Europe, India, and North America. No pricing details are available at this time.
