Techland publishes a video in which we can listen to Silas Greaves, main character of Call of Juarez, praising Arthur Morgan.

The Wild West may be a time full of scoundrels and outlaws, but they all have little appreciation for the law and their passion for pistols and shootings. Silas Greaves, main character of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, has sent a message to Arthur Morgan, protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2. And no, he has not sent a bullet in an envelope, but rather friendly words, which makes them well lack.

In the video, published by Techland, the developer studio, we heard the voice of Greaves: “The Old West is full of legends,” he says, “and you, Arthur Morgan, will soon be one of the greatest, I’m sure. Because legends, as you know, never die, change and become stronger than ever. ” Throughout the 27 seconds that the clip lasts, we visualize different planes of the West. In the end, it ends with the Call of Juarez logo: Gunslinger.

As has been seen on the official page of the game on Facebook, Techland recently changed the cover photo for one in which Silas Greaves appears. Below, a single phrase: “Legends never die”. Although there is no new game announced, Techland announced last April that it had acquired the rights to publish the saga, held by Ubisoft until then. After a period in which Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was removed from the digital stores, the game was available again soon after.

Red Dead Redemption 2, meanwhile, is preparing to disembark on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The new production of Rockstar Games, a story prequel to the original title, will take us to the last years of the Wild West. Arthur Morgan and his gang will be prosecuted by law after their last coup fails. Thereafter, they will be forced to flee and survive in a hostile environment. It will go on sale on October 26.
