Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, challenged Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, to dispute Ukraine. The businessman sent a message to the politician through his Twitter account.
“I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to a duel. What is at stake is Ukraine,” Musk stated in a short message in which he interspersed Cyrillic script.
This message provoked an immediate response from the director of the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, who had already had a confrontation with Musk on other occasions.
“Little devil, you are still young,” said Dmitry Rogozin, who has headed Roscosmos since 2018.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, also took part in the cyber fight, tweeting that he was “sure Musk can send Putin to Jupiter.”
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Musk has sent terminals of his SpaceX Starlink satellite connection service to try to alleviate internet service interruptions in Ukraine caused by the bombing.
