In the midst of the battle for the first round of the presidential election, the setback is bad. The Republican candidate communicated the news via her Twitter account, specifying that she would continue her campaign “from a distance”.

All our meetings are maintained thanks to the mobilization of the team,” she said.
Valérie Pécresse, who tested positive on Thursday afternoon, was to go to Bordeaux on Friday but “the meeting will be hosted by someone else”, it was said in her entourage, without giving more details. His Saturday trip to the Bouches-du-Rhône “is cancelled”, we added.
The candidate LR had presented Thursday morning a draft reform of the Constitution to “restore order”.
