Goa Assembly Election 2022: Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Tuesday released the first list of 11 candidates for the Goa Assembly Election 2022 . Rajya Sabha member Luizinho Faleiro has been given ticket from Fatorda assembly seat Goa Forward Party chief Vijay Sardesai is currently the MLA from this seat. Sardesai, who was Deputy Chief Minister in Manohar Parrikar’s government, is the current MLA of Fatorda.

Now after the decision of Luizinho’s candidature from this seat, the competition has become very tough. Let us inform that Faleiro had recently left the Congress and joined the Trinamool. In the last elections, Faleiro was elected MLA from Navelim. According to the list, former GFP leaders Kiran Kandolkar and Jagdish Bhobe will contest from Aldona and Sant Andre seats in the state. Both have resigned from the Sardesai-led party today.

Churchill was last elected MLA from this seat on an NCP ticket.

Former Goa Chief Minister Churchill Alemao Benaulim and his daughter Valanka have been given tickets from the fledgling seats. Churchill was last elected MLA from this seat on an NCP ticket. According to Trinamool Congress, former BJP leader Sandeep Vajarkar has been given ticket from Porvorim, Samil Volvoikar from Kumbharjua, Ganpat Gaonkar from Porim, Gilbert Mariano Rodriguez from Courtalim, Jose Raju Cabral from Nuvem and Dr. Jorson Fernandes from Cuncolim. The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress is fighting the 40-member Goa Assembly elections in alliance with the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party.

 

Voting in Goa will be held in a single phase on February 14

Elections to 40 assembly seats in Goa will be held in a single phase. Goa will go to polls on February 14 while the results will be out on March 10. Nominations will start on January 21. January 28 will be the last date for nominations. In view of the Corona epidemic, the Election Commission has prepared strict protocols this time. According to this, no rally, road show and padyatra will be allowed till January 15.
