As part of a confidentiality agreement with a lady with whom he would have had an adulterous connection, WWE founder, owner, and CEO Vince McMahon would have paid a total of three million dollars, bringing the total amount of money spent on the deal to three million dollars.
The matter was brought to light, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, by anonymous emails sent from the account of a friend of the lady who had previously worked in the legal help department of WWE.
As a consequence of the aforementioned fact, the board of directors of the firm decided to conduct an inquiry since it was discovered that further secrecy agreements existed.
According to the sources cited in the study, McMahon carried on an affair outside of his marriage with the lady who was recruited for a salary of one hundred thousand dollars.
After the romance was discovered, the amount of the pay was upped to $200,000.
Later, Vince McMahon made him an opportunity to sign a contract that said he would not discuss the nature of their connection or voice any criticism of the person in charge of the wrestling firm.
Since April of last year, the inquiry would have been ongoing, uncovering other confidentiality agreements along the road to handle charges of wrongdoing by Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis, who is the head of talent relations for WWE.
These arrangements would include a number of formerly employed individuals from the organization as well as payments totaling several million dollars.
In such a situation, the first evidence reveals that McMahon used his own cash to settle the agreements with the former workers, which means that corporate funds were not involved in any of the transactions.
Vince McMahon is 75 years old and has been married to Linda Edwards since 1966. Linda Edwards served as administrator of the Small Business Presidency during the administration of Donald Trump. Vince McMahon’s age and marital status are both public knowledge.
