After Shakira and Piqué confirmed that they are going their separate ways, and it was speculated that the artist suffered a strong anxiety attack after her partner’s alleged infidelity – that even an ambulance would have attended her at home -, the Barranquilla singer denied it through Twitter the situation of medical care, because, in reality, the urgency was for his father who suffered a “significant” fall on May 28.

The recovery of Shakira’s father

After William Mebarak, the artist’s father remained in the hospital; for a little over a week, his evolution was good, since on June 7 he was discharged.

Despite the love crisis that Shakira is experiencing, the singer-songwriter has shown on social networks that Mebarak’s recovery is very important to her, as she shared a video that went viral on networks, where she is seen showing her father some signs with words written so that he can read and pronounce them.

Given this, the singer Ricky Martin expressed his affection for him, as the Puerto Rican posted on Instagram “A lot of strength! Blessings.

Likewise, Shakira dedicated, along with the material, shows of affection towards her followers, “With my dad discharged, already at home and on the way up, helping him with his cognitive stimulation after trauma. Thank you all for wrapping us up with her immense affection,” she wrote.
