Game of Thrones: 8th season will take longer than imagined

Joe Bauer, responsible for the special effects of ‘Game of Thrones’, has given an approximation of the premiere of the series, as well as the recordings of the prequel.

Those who thought that the series could arrive in March or April 2019, we can get the illusions, as Bauer confirmed that the plot of HBO will compete in the Emmy Awards 2020, as confessed in an interview with Huffington Post.

“We will be working in the eighth season until May, so we have eight or nine months ahead. However, the prequel starts shooting in February, so we’ll have a lot of work to do when they start. “

These statements add to those of Casey Bloys, who had mentioned that the premiere of the eighth season will arrive in the first half of 2019. But many had thought that this premiere could have been in March or April, not in June.

In addition, the fact that ‘Game of Thrones’ does not participate in the Emmy Awards of 2019 but 2020, is worrisome, because every series released until May 31 can participate normally.

Until now there was a rumor that the series could reach the screens in March or April, but after Bauer’s statements, they are, apparently, after May.

At least, we know that the prequel to ‘Game of Thrones’ will begin filming in February 2019.
