The singer with Latin roots, Camila Cabello, is the new image of the women’s fashion and lingerie company, Victoria’s Secret, in its new inclusive bilingual campaign. Well, they had already done it before with the Puerto Rican Sofía Jirau, who would be the first model with Down syndrome to participate in the firm.

In her new campaign, called Bombshell, the interpreter of ‘Bam bam’ is the image of her new fragrance, where the photographer Zoey Grossman was in charge of the photo session that captured the self-esteem and spirit of the artist, who seeks to inspire self-love in other women.

In an interview, Cabello herself expressed her opinion about the new perfume. “For me, being a Bombshell is being exactly who you are and having the courage to celebrate who you are, every day. I am excited to join Victoria’s Secret in celebrating the Bombshell in every woman,” she commented.

It should be noted that Camila Cabello appears in the photos without makeup, a little shaggy, and with a denim top that shows her breasts. Well, she only seeks to manifest the citrus scent and exotic fruits. Victoria’s Secret will celebrate the presentation of the splash at an event called ‘The Bombshell Gardens’, in New York City from May 3 to May 9.

For some time now, the American company has been looking for different types of people to make the brand more inclusive. This is the case of Sofía Jirau, who expressed during an interview with People en Español that one of her goals was to be a model. “When I was little I said I wanted to be a model. I also wanted to be a businesswoman to have my brand,” said Jirau.

Likewise, her representative, Alessandra Correa, was the one who linked the fashion firm and the young woman. “The mail from Victoria’s… arrived on December 15 [in the] early morning. At first, I thought it was spam. She wrote me the casting director and told me: ‘We want her in Los Angeles this Friday’ (…) There were brands that viewed her with pity, and that worried me. It took me four years to make them understand that she has to be paid for what she’s worth, not because it’s a donation from her or I’m doing her a little favor. I think Victoria’s Secret opportunity helped us achieve that,” she added.
