The South Korean k-pop group BTS made up of Jungkook, V (Taehyung), Jimin, j-hope, SUGA, Jin and RM, adds a new achievement so far in 2022 and it is because the streaming platform Spotify sent them a recognition, with which they become members of an exclusive club that very few artists have managed to enter. All this was thanks to them reaching a billion or a billion views with the song Dynamite within the music platform and with this, they become the first Korean act to achieve it.
BTS’s “Dynamite” Hits One Billion To One Billion Streams On Spotify
It should be noted that BTS achieved this milestone in July 2021 with their English song Dynamite, and with this, they entered the Billions Club or the Spotify Billions Club, but it was not until March 15, 2022, that they received their plaque which is shaped like a plate or bowl. On the other hand, the song was released on November 20, 2020, with what would be marked as the first single or single from the South Korean K-pop group that debuted in 2013. With this, they join artists such as Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, The Weeknd, Coldplay, Bad Bunny among others.

BTS Joins Spotify Exclusive Club And Receives Dish Recognition
With this achievement, BTS obtained a recognition which has a very peculiar shape since it looks like a plate and most of the artists who have received it, usually add their favourite dish to the plate and eat directly from there and with the group of k-pop was no exception, as each of the members added an ingredient to a bed of white rice, creating the famous South Korean dish called bibimbap and thus celebrating the fact of becoming the first Korean artist to earn such recognition from Spotify.
