Gladiator (2000) is a film directed by Ridley Scott and carried out by Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen or Richard Harris. After its release, the film received all kinds of praise as well as numerous awards and nominations, including five Oscars, as the best film and best actor for Russell Crowe in the role of Max Tenth Meridio. The film tells the story of the betrayal of the Hispanic general of the army of the Ancient Rome, by the son of the Emperor, Comfortable and of how Maximo integrates in the fight of gladiators longing for revenge.
