We often spend hundreds of euros on products to rejuvenate and care for our skin and face. Despite this, we have to think that there are multiple natural treatments for this care, without having to spend just money.
Ice is a simple and inexpensive way to combat wrinkles, blemishes, and many other signs of aging. In addition to there being specialized ice therapy treatments, there are also many others that we can practice at home.
Uses of Ice for Skin
Water in its solid state has many uses and is one of the best recipes to show off healthy skin free of impurities. Its continued use and application with a cloth or bag (depending on the area where it is applied) regenerates circulation and can provide us with various advantages, among which we find:

- Multipurpose: Before putting the ice in contact with our skin, we must do a simple cleaning with water and a mild soap to have the skin completely clean. Then we wrap the ice in a thin towel and apply it directly to the skin for at least 15 minutes. This will tighten the skin, reactivate circulation, which in turn will eliminate acne, wrinkles and possible redness or swelling.
- Base: If you are one of those who use makeup base but after a few hours, it has disappeared, ice is the best option. Ice acts as a fixative and closes the pores of our skin and reduces sebaceous secretions, so that the skin is smoothed and makeup adheres better.
- Eye bags: Dark circles can be chronic or the result of a bad night, but in any case, ice helps to combat them. It can be placed wrapped in a cloth over the eyes, or if you want to achieve a stronger effect, you can accompany the ice with caffeinated black tea, or place cucumber slices with ice on top.
- Hair removal. It is advisable to shower with cold water or ice the area, just before waxing. This will prevent redness, irritation and, in addition, it will close the pores, making the skin look fresher and brighter.
- Acne: Ice should be placed on a plastic bag (the fabric of a towel can further irritate the skin with pimples or pimples) and keep on the acne for 5 to 10 minutes. In this way the swelling and redness, so aesthetically annoying, will be reduced.
- Combined with fruits and tea: It is true that ice can bring us many benefits but if we combine it with some fruits or teas, the effect is multiplied. You just have to blend the fruits (look for which ones have the properties you are looking for in your skin) with water and then freeze them in cubes to be able to apply more easily. Mango, strawberry or white tea are some of the most recommended.
