WhatsApp will no longer be completely free and will start charging

The WhatsApp instant messaging platform would no longer be completely free as it has been since 2015 and would soon start charging for some of its functions.

WhatsApp is one of the platforms that belong to Meta, the technology company founded by Mark Zuckerberg and they constantly release updates.

This application is constantly changing to offer a better experience to its hundreds of millions of users and security is a key that is not lost, which is why each year WhatsApp stops working on some cell phones because they become obsolete.

But the updates are not only for its mobile version but also for the desktop version, in fact, recently WhatsApp Web was a trend due to complaints about its delay in starting and loading messages and that, as the company explained, due to its most recent update.

Now, one of the latest news about WhatsApp surprises its followers and is that according to the specialized portal WABETA Info, the application prepares some services that must be paid for.

However, and fortunately for many, the charge would not be for everyone, but would be for the accounts that use WhatsApp Business and it will not be mandatory either. 

This means that entrepreneurs and businessmen who use WhatsApp Business will have the possibility, if they so wish, of paying a modest sum, which has not yet been confirmed, to have new or better tools to manage their business. 

WhatsApp plans to introduce an optional subscription plan for business accounts so that they can use some additional features, such as the ability to link up to 10 devices to the same WhatsApp business account .
