Whatsapp Will Close Accounts From March 31
WhatsApp will close accounts from March 31

Could it be a nightmare to run out of WhatsApp? We have experienced in recent months Meta server crashes and how the application has been disconnected for its millions of users. But being online and without problems, you could soon see how your account is closed by the social media company.

And we are not talking about sanctions or temporary suspensions. Meta plans to permanently close several accounts of the instant messaging app, putting an end to the WhatsApp activity of thousands of users.

From this March 31, WhatsApp will evaluate some accounts and determine whether they should be closed or not. Below, we explain the reasons why a profile could be deleted forever.

Reasons why Meta will close WhatsApp accounts

There is a list of cases in which Meta will close WhatsApp accounts:

  1. If your account is inactive for more than 120 days in a row.
  2. They will close the account of those who use modified apps like WhatsApp Plus.
  3. You will evaluate users who spam on a regular basis, either by creating broadcast lists or groups to be able to send a message.
  4. The accounts of people who have been blocked by multiple users at the same time in less than a day will also be penalized.
  5. Meta has already done it on Facebook and now it will do it on WhatsApp: it will eliminate those accounts that share fake news.
  6. Accounts that send files with modified programs will be blocked.

The reasons why Meta could close a WhatsApp account summarizes exactly what we must do to prevent it from happening to us. Use the app, do not use modified programs such as Whatsapp Plus, do not send spam, be respectful of your contacts and the community in general, and do not spread fake news.

In addition, there is also a list of smartphones on which WhatsApp will stop working from March 31, bad news, for example, for users who still have iPhones 6S, 6S PLUS and the first version of the SE.
