Onimusha Warlords deploys the swords in its new trailer

Capcom resurrects one of its star games from the PlayStation 2 generation and remasters it for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

The classics of Capcom continue to arrive. Soon we will live the return of Resident Evil 2 thanks to its remake, but another of the illustrious titles, this time of the 128-bit generation, will be released soon. It is about the remasterización of Onimusha: Warlords, first delivery of a franchise that counted on several sequels of quality and that now presents a new trailer to us.

Although there are still a few months left for us to play on our machines, the Japanese company wanted us to taste almost two minutes of footage. During the video, the protagonists fight with their weapon against creatures of all kinds, many of them non-human.

The title, which originally appeared on PlayStation 2, will introduce some improvements in its release on PC and current consoles. Besides resolution in high definition, this version will allow us to configure the game in panoramic format. On the other hand the control will be compatible with the analog stick and we can play in easy mode from the beginning. As if that were not enough, Capcom has decided to record a new soundtrack and new voices.

In Onimusha: Warlords will be the samurai Samanosuke Akechi and the ninja Kaede, who fight against demonic beings to save the princess Yuki, The forces of evil have invaded the castle of Inabayama and the two protagonists will soon be witnesses of the plot orchestrated by the evil Nobunaga Ode. In the game, sword and fantasy are mixed in a journey as magical as dangerous. It is up to them to put an end to the forces of darkness.

Onimusha: Warlords will go on sale on January 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Although American players can enjoy an edition in physical format, those from the Old Continent will have to settle for the digital version, which will be sold at a price of 19.99 euros.
