In 2021, Instagram announced that it was developing a feature similar to TikTok. The Vertical Stories tool was discovered by Alessandro Paluzzi, who shared the leak about the app on his Twitter account.
According to recent information, Instagram is already testing the new tool for stories in Turkey and Brazil, as some users have reported that they can already use this feature on their iOS and Android phones.
Currently, most of us still navigate Instagram stories by clicking and scrolling horizontally. Now, with a vertical scroll, you could go from one user’s story to another.
Through his official Twitter account, the famous leaker Matt Navarra shared a video of how vertical Instagram stories work.
The application has been focusing its attention on the video section. They have assured that it will be the star format of Instagram in 2022.
It is not yet clear when the new scrolling method will arrive, but for now, it is known that the social network is already testing and then launching it completely nationwide.
