WhatsApp, unlike other chat platforms, does not enable the option to log out of the account remotely. In addition, the most likely thing is to lose the mobile with the SIM card inside, so it will not be possible to log into the account from another phone.

Therefore, you will need to send an email to the WhatsApp support account with the message “Phone stolen/lost: please deactivate my account”, together with the phone number associated with the account, including the country code, +51 in the case of Peru.

Unlink Telegram account

The famous alternative messaging app to WhatsApp gives us facilities to keep our account safe even if we have lost our phone. If you want to close the Telegram session on another device, this is what you need to do:

  • Open Telegram on another device and log in with your account.
  • Go to the application settings, and from there to the “Security and privacy” section.
