How to pass a color black and white photograph from your phone?

The photographs in black and white are often a very precious memory for seniors. Unfortunately, the passing of the years causes these images that keep important moments to end up deteriorating. Is there a way to rescue them? Believe it or not, there are several applications for smartphones that allow you to restore them, even color them. Would you like to try them? Here we collect them.

Color memories

Available for free on the Play Store, this photo editor has artificial intelligence that analyzes the images and restores them in an easy and simple way. In addition, it offers the possibility of coloring them and improving the contrast, lighting, brightness, etc. Thanks to its sharing option, the result can be uploaded directly to your social networks or saved to print them later.

Colorize images

Like the previous one, you can find it in the Play Store. Using it is quite simple, among its main functions we have to restore images in black and white, also turn them to color in a matter of seconds. Once you have the result, it will be saved in your phone’s gallery so that you can share it via email or social networks. It even allows you to send it to print.

Colorize by Photomyne

Developed by Photomyne, this tool allows you to make simple and advanced touch-ups from your smartphone. One of its main disadvantages is that it only offers a free trial period, then you will have to subscribe to continue using its tools that range from photo scanners, restoration of old images, black and white photo coloring, among others.

Colorize!

Finally, we have Colorize!, an application that, in addition to restoring images and coloring them, allows you to add various filters to give it a unique look. Its free version provides images of 800×800 pixels (without watermark). In case you want a higher resolution result (3000×3000 pixels), you will have to pay the subscription. So you can remove ads and use some exclusive tools.
