As a YouTuber who properly disclosed information about one of the game’s main characters suggested, Grand Theft Auto 6’s introduction video could be released shortly.
For a very long time, Rockstar has kept mum on any information regarding Grand Theft Auto 6. Information regarding the next Grand Theft Auto game has been steadily leaking out, despite the developer having only recently confirmed that work on the game had begun.
Following a big hack, early footage of GTA VI appeared, confirming rumors that the game would return to Vice City and feature a female protagonist.
Fans are waiting eagerly for an official announcement from Rockstar, and now a possible insider has spilled the beans on what to expect from the game’s debut teaser.
The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer may have been leaked.
Brazilian YouTuber ‘SanInPlay’ claims to have exclusive information regarding the impending GTA 6 teaser, claiming that it will reveal major plot points related to Lucia, a significant character in the game.
San tweeted about various scenes from the teaser, including dogs having fun on the beach, a reptile crossing the street, and, most intriguingly, Lucia in prison working out.
Lucia is one of the two playable protagonists, and she and Jason may develop romantic feelings for one another. According to a Bloomberg article from July, the team takes inspiration from the notorious bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.
It would make sense if she spent the first part of the tale of GTA 6 in jail and had to break out.
There was a lack of specificity in the leak, though.
The crucial issue is whether or not we can believe this disclosure. Well, San revealed Lucia’s name and correctly indicated that she is Latina before the major GTA 6 gameplay hack, lending credence to these accusations.
It is unclear when this trailer will be released, but the parent company of Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, will be holding an earnings call on February 6, 2023 to discuss the business’s third fiscal quarter.
