How to share your screen in a Messenger video call?
To begin, you must first organize a video call by pressing the camera icon or create a room in Messenger Rooms from WhatsApp, Messenger, or Facebook. Once you do, start the communication and follow the steps below depending on the device you use.

From a computer:

  1. Click the screen share button at the bottom.
  2. Select what to display: full screen, web browser window, or tab.
  3. Tap the share button.
  4. You will see a preview of the shared content within the video call.

If you want to check the audio, camera, and other video call options while using this function, press the three dots icon ⋮ in the upper right and go to device settings. To stop showing your computer’s content, press the stop screen sharing button.

From Android devices:

  1. Swipe up the menu at the bottom.
  2. Tap the screen share button (two-square icon).
  3. Press the start button and then minimize screen to start sharing.

To stop sharing your smartphone screen, you just have to return to the video call and press the stop button.

From iOS devices:

  1. Swipe up the menu at the bottom.
  2. Press the share screen button (icon with two squares).
  3. Select the option to start streaming.
  4. Tap outside the window to start sharing.

To stop sharing your iPhone or iPad screen, press the red bar that will appear at the top and press the stop button.
