One of the recurring complaints about users who make a step from Android to iOS devices is related to the impossibility of generating an easy migration of the data that is in the WhatsApp application. But now it has been announced that that problem will come to an end.
WhatsApp will implement an alternative so that its Android users can transfer their conversation history, files, and almost all the elements that are in the application to have them available on an iOS device. Only data such as financial transactions made within the application will not be kept.
“We are adding to WhatsApp the ability to securely switch between phones and transfer your chat history, photos, videos, and voice messages between Android and iPhone while maintaining end-to-end encryption. This is a highly requested feature. We launched the ability to switch from iPhone–>Android last year, and now we’re adding Android–>iPhone as well.” explained Mark Zuckerberg, Founder, and CEO of the Meta conglomerate.

The other relevant thing is that initially, this option will only be available to users who are part of the WhatsApp Beta tests. The entire implementation process will take about a week, although for now there is no date for a launch for all users of the application.
