In the last 24 hours, the country registered 5,714 infections and 163 deaths from the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus .

As part of the National Vaccination Policy against the SARS-CoV-2 Virus for the Prevention of COVID-19 , a total of 177 million 918 thousand 897 doses against COVID-19 have been applied in Mexico since December 24, 2020 , including the 711 thousand 512 supplied this Saturday.

The Daily Technical Report indicates that 85 million 041 thousand 305 people have been vaccinated. Of that total, 78 million 663 thousand 516, which is equivalent to 93 percent, have a complete scheme, and six million 377 thousand 789, that is, seven percent, received the first biological.

The epidemic week opens with a 45 percent reduction in the number of estimated cases compared to the previous period; 73 thousand 193 people presented signs and symptoms in the last 14 days, are considered active cases and are equivalent to 1.3 percent of the total during the pandemic.

The national hospital occupancy is 81 percent lower than that recorded at the peak of the second epidemic wave, in January 2021. In the last 24 hours, the occupancy of general beds decreased one percentage point to 25 percent and that of ventilated beds remained unchanged at 18 percent
