6 Activities of Early Stimulation for Babies Might help in Developing the Baby’s Cognitive System Faster

These early stimulation exercises will help develop the baby’s cognitive system, and the best thing is that you can do it from home.

One of the basic needs that every baby needs is physical contact. Although you do not believe it, it is through this action that the newborn receives his first stimuli, which will greatly influence his cognitive development. Therefore, it is important that you take some time to play and do some exercises with your little one.

Here are seven ideas you can do from home for early stimulation of your baby. Take note!

1. Musical instruments

One of the most used musical instruments are the tambourines, with these the directional is worked. The goal is for the child to follow the sound by moving his head to the sides. It is also a good way to work your sight.

2. Wool

Place several strips of wool on your feet so you can feel it and catch it. This develops the creativity of the child and reinforces his movements. It is also very economical. Take care not to put it in your mouth.

3. Colored scarves

It is recommended to have tissues of different colors. Take one end of the cloth and move it from the bottom up to get your attention. You can also play hide and seek with the cloth, saying where is the little one? Remember to talk continuously with your little one to stimulate their language and their hearing.

4. Text cubes

You can do it at home. You just have to get fabrics or papers of different textures, and paste each of these on a cardboard cube. Wait for one of each to dry and stick on each side. Once it has dried, take the newborn’s hand, make it touch the bucket, or with your fingernails scrape each side to get your attention by sound.

5. Fabric pompoms

They are small balls of cloth. Feel your baby in his crib, and from above and a few throws the pom-poms as if it were a rain. When he falls, the child will be curious to know what it is and will take as many as he can. Do not stop monitoring it because you can eat it.

6. Rice

Place your child in his bath tub, and put an open bag of rice next to him, and see what he does. The sound of rice will also help you fall asleep. If you do not have this food, you can place beans or corn.
