The PRI bench in the Chamber of Deputies closed ranks this Monday afternoon and is preparing to spend the night in San Lázaro, waiting to vote tomorrow in the plenary session on President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s Electricity Reform initiative,, to prevent blockades, demonstrators prevent them from entering the legislative precinct of San Lázaro.

This was agreed in a private meeting, in which 70 of the 71 members of that parliamentary group were present, except Carlos Miguel Aysa, son of the former governor of Campeche.
Since Sunday night, groups related to Morena have called for demonstrations outside the Chamber of Deputies in favor of the presidential initiative. The opposition has denounced that basically, the objective of said act is to prevent access and that the reform can be endorsed by a majority of the cherries and their allies.
In parallel, the members of the Political Coordination Board ( Jacopo ) called a meeting at 7:00 p.m., to seek consensus on the proposal.
Even Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, leader of the tricolor, was captured inside the chamber with a suitcase.
Through his Twitter account, the national leader of the PRI shared a video in which he leads the tricolor bench, and they board a bus with everything and suitcases that takes them to the Chamber of Deputies.
“We have already arrived at the Chamber of Deputies! They threatened to mobilize and even prevent the passage to democracy, but we got ahead of ourselves,” Moreno Cárdenas wrote to accompany the video published on social networks.
