Being an Avenger sounds like fun, but it’s not a race to make money. The latest Marvel productions for Phase 4 added a new discussion to the mix regarding the side effects of being an Avenger: salary or lack thereof. After seeing the trailer for Hawkeye, the Avengers would have found a way to make money with the lack of Tony Stark.
Let’s do a bit of history in Phase 4. Vision (Paul Bettany) bought a plot of land for Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) before the WandaVision events, presumably with an income funded by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). Now that Stark is no longer in the MCU, the funding just ran out. Another detail we see in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is when Sam Wilson does not receive a loan despite being an Avenger. It is clear that risking your skin for the world is not profitable.

Now, a solution to the lack of money would be in Rogers: The Musical, the theater work dedicated to the Avengers that appears in the Hawkeye trailer. Not only does the Broadway show indicate that Steve and his fellow Avengers are still heroes in the eyes of the world, but it also indicates that there could be creative ways to use their image for funding, namely the licensing of image rights. .
The fact that Clint takes his family to see the show leads viewers to believe that he was aware of the stage production before it opened on Broadway and supports them enough to attend the show. Possibly he approved the use of his Hawkeye image or had something to say in a licensing agreement.
The premiere of Hawkeye is scheduled for November 24, 2021 on the Disney Plus platform.
